Guys, can we talk about pie? This here is the deadly Banana Marshmallow Coconut pie, made by the esteemed mother of my gentleman companion. This pie was amazing. The toasted coconut crust was crunchy, buttery and surprisingly solid - no crumbling flaky pastry here. The banana flavour was natural and strong, and the pudding/cream/marshmallow layers were…well they were made of pudding, cream, and marshmallows so no complaints. Look, this pie was creamy, flavourful and heavenly…but…I don’t know…I come from a land where a dessert pie is a humble apple affair and part of me misses low key pies. The only bad thing about this pie really was that it prevented me fully enjoying the other pies on offer.
